Read each project in detail. Every pound is tagged to the specific project you choose, transferred to Rahma Mercy on a fixed schedule, and reported back with photos from the field.
Deadline 31 May
Most Needy
For the most needy in our community — orphans, widows, families in hardship across the Western Balkans. We allocate your gift to whichever family or programme has the greatest need that month, reported back transparently. Accepts Zakat (where shariah-eligible recipients are confirmed), Sadaqah, or Lillah.
For disposal of interest income (riba). This pot is strictly for unlawful gain being given away — it does NOT count as Zakat or Sadaqah and earns no spiritual reward; the religious instruction is simply to remove riba from your wealth. Funds are routed to charitable infrastructure (toilets, water, education access) where receipt does not require Zakat-eligibility — i.e. categories where the spiritual reward of giving is not the donor's concern.
A locally-delivered Qurbani meal distribution programme. Funds buy and prepare Qurbani-share meat that is cooked and distributed as full meals to local families and refugees in the Blackburn community. Accepts Lillah only — Qurbani is a separate ritual obligation and isn't the same as Sadaqah/Zakat giving.
