Assalamualaikum,
The Albanian Ministry of Health now requires rural clinics to follow its standard design. We are building to that specification, which has brought the build cost down.
Clinic target: £18,000 (was £22,500)
Overall target: £28,500 (was £33,000)

What we're building
A permanent village clinic, two kilometres from Madrasah Vali — Albania. It sits at the centre of three villages that each lie within a three-kilometre radius, so it is walkable from all of them.
Roughly 400 families live in those three villages. None of them has local healthcare today; the nearest facility is a journey most of them cannot make easily or often.
What £18,000 covers
Alhamdulillah, the government has granted permission to build, has provided the land itself, and is paying for the clinic's medical equipment. Not a penny of your donation goes on land or on fitting it out.
What we are raising for is the building — the full cost of putting it up to the Ministry of Health's standard design for a rural clinic: the £18,000 target.
Why this project is Lillah only
The clinic will treat everyone in the three villages, regardless of whether they would be eligible to receive Zakat. Because Zakat must reach a shariah-eligible recipient directly, it cannot be used to fund a building that serves the whole community — so this project accepts Lillah only.
If you are giving Zakat, our Food Packs for Needy Families project accepts it.
Reporting back
Stage-by-stage photographs are published as the build progresses, and a close-out report with full financial reconciliation follows on completion.
Funds raised by Madrasah Vali on behalf of the campaign are transferred to Rahma Mercy (UK Charity #1097682). Ring-fenced for this project.
