Who receives the packs
10 family food packs are distributed in Sarajevo by our long-standing partner Center for Education and Research “Nahla”, working with Rahma Mercy since 2014. Beneficiaries are drawn from families with many children, elderly relatives, widows of the 1992–95 war, and households with serious health needs.
One of the ten packs is gluten-free, prepared specifically for a beneficiary with a confirmed coeliac diagnosis.
What's in a pack
Each £86.62 pack contains 25 staple grocery and household items — flour, oil, rice, pasta, spices, lunch loaf, juice, milk, sugar, salt, baking essentials, dish soap, washing powder, and toothpaste.
Distribution dates are 5 May – 5 June 2026, with members of the MV travel team present in Sarajevo from 23–29 May to deliver in person.

These packs are confirmed Zakat-eligible — beneficiaries are documented to fall within the recognised categories of recipients. If you choose Zakat as your donation type for this project, we apply your gift accordingly.
