Last year, in Albania.
For Eid ul-Adha 1446, a 14-person Madrasah Vali team flew to Albania for our first Balkans deployment. Here's some of what we delivered alongside Rahma Mercy.
Qurbani: distributed in person across multiple villages, with the team present for the slaughter and delivery.
Hospital staff uniforms: fitted out a local hospital's entire staff.
Masjid renovations: improvements to two community masaajid.
Empowerment butcher shop: capital + setup for a sustainable local livelihood.
Solar power systems: off-grid power for a remote community.
Eid gifts & food: distributed to children and families.
The 2025 trip is what gave us conviction to commit to a permanent partnership with Rahma Mercy. This year: we go back, we deliver Qurbani & food packs, and we lay the bricks for a permanent madrasah classroom.
