Back the remaining projects →Who receives the packs
While the team is on the ground they will visit 50 poor and needy families in and around Lushnjë. Families are identified with the help of the local madrasah and community leaders, who know who is struggling.
Every pack is handed over in person by the Madrasah Vali team — not shipped, not delegated.
What £30 provides
Each family receives two food bags. Together they hold enough provisions to feed the household for roughly one month.
Each bag costs £15, so £30 supports one family in full. Contents are bought locally in Albania, so every pound stays in the local economy.
Zakat, Sadaqah or Lillah
This project accepts all three. The families are confirmed as shariah-eligible recipients before distribution, so your Zakat reaches someone entitled to receive it.
Reporting back
Photographs and a distribution summary are returned within 14 working days of the visit and published on this page.
Funds raised by Madrasah Vali on behalf of the campaign are transferred to Rahma Mercy (UK Charity #1097682). Ring-fenced for this project.
