Terms of donation

By making a donation through this site, you agree to the following.

1. Funds raised by Madrasah Vali are ring-fenced for the project you select. Transfers to the on-the-ground delivery team are logged publicly on the campaign page.
2. Madrasah Vali is not a UK-registered charity and does not currently claim Gift Aid; this site does not collect Gift Aid declarations.
3. Stripe processing fees apply to every gift. At checkout you may choose to cover the fee so the project receives the full amount; otherwise the fee is deducted from your donation before transfer.
4. If a project exceeds its target, surplus funds will be applied to the cause most in need, with full disclosure on the campaign page.
5. Refund policy: donations are non-refundable except in cases of obvious error (e.g. you donated twice by mistake). Contact us within 14 days for a refund request.
6. Sponsor-a-Brick gifts confer naming on the public brick wall and a digital certificate. They do not confer ownership of any physical brick or part of the building.
7. The leaderboard shows the display name you chose at checkout. You can request removal at any time by emailing us.
8. All donation timestamps are UK time. Currency is GBP.
