Terms of donation

By making a donation through this site, you agree to the following.

1. Funds raised by Madrasah Vali on behalf of the campaign are ring-fenced for the project you select and transferred to Rahma Mercy (UK Charity #1097682) in tranches. Every transfer is logged publicly on the campaign page.
2. If you opt in to Gift Aid, your declaration is shared with Rahma Mercy who issue your Gift Aid receipt and submit the claim to HMRC directly.
3. Madrasah Vali absorbs all platform and processing fees, so 100% of your gift reaches the project.
4. If a project exceeds its target, surplus funds will be applied to the project most in need within the 1447/2026 Balkans campaign, with full disclosure on the campaign page.
5. Refund policy: donations are non-refundable except in cases of obvious error (e.g. you donated twice by mistake). Contact us within 14 days for a refund request.
6. Sponsor-a-Brick gifts confer naming on the public donor wall and a digital certificate. They do not confer ownership of any physical brick or part of the building.
7. The donor wall and leaderboard show the display name you chose at checkout. You can request removal at any time by emailing us.
8. All donation timestamps are UK time. Currency is GBP.
